Singing isn't just for fun. It's also a great educational tool, a fantastic way to boost personal confidence, unite communities and encourage group interaction. It makes school a more enjoyable place to be! Singing your way through the school day has been shown to improve behaviour, encourage creativity and boost memory skills in other subjects (find out more on our Science behind the singing page).
 
Each member of the VOICEBOX team is an experienced and dedicated music educator and vocal animateur. Between them, they have delivered successful singing projects and teacher training on a national scale, for organisations such as the BBC, Sing Up, Youth Music, Welsh National Opera, Trinity College (Key Stage 2 CPD courses), Young Choirs, Yorkshire Youth and Music, University of Warwick and Surrey Arts. Our team approach enables us to work with larger groups and demonstrate singing in harmony. This offers an immediate visual and aural model to inspire and encourage young people - perfect for a whole school event!

VOICEBOX can create a unique singing project for your school. You may wish to have a one-off taster session, or take part in a longer-term project culminating in a performance opportunity. You could collaborate with other schools in your area, or arrange for us to deliver CPD sessions for your teaching staff.
